Driving Directions to Lincoln Woods State Park From the Providence area
Take 95 north to Rte 146 north. Take Rt 146 North to the Twin River Road exit. Take a right off Twin River Road, this leads directly into Lincoln Woods State Park. From the main entrance, follow the one-way loop and the Kayak School signs around the loop to the right. Go past the main parking lot by the beach area and go over wooden bridge. There will be a playing field on the left and a small parking area behind it. Take a left just past the playing field and follow to parking area. Park here and walk up the path to the red building with the kayak racks.
From the Boston area
Take I-95 south to the I-295 south. Follow I-295 to Route 146 south (towards Providence). Follow Route 146 about 3 miles. Turn left onto Twin River Road, this leads directly into Lincoln Woods State Park. From the main entrance, follow the one-way loop and the Kayak School signs around the loop to the right.
